Invisalign
Crooked teeth detract from both the health and beauty of your smile. However, many patients dislike the idea of bulky, uncomfortable braces.
At our office in Victoria, TX, Dr. Robert Zboril offers Invisalign® as a comfortable and discreet alternative to traditional orthodontics.
So why should you choose Invisalign?

Straighten Your Smile Without Interrupting Your Life
Better Looking
The Invisalign system is made from clear, BPA-free plastic. With these clear aligners, your friends may not even realize you are receiving orthodontic treatment.
Greater Comfort
Dr. Zboril uses advanced Blue Sky Bio and Invisalign® software to carefully design your aligners so they fit your smile comfortably and securely. Unlike metal brackets, the smooth aligner surface won’t cut or irritate the inside of your mouth.
More Convenient
Invisalign is removable, meaning you can continue to enjoy your favorite foods and activities while you straighten your smile. Keeping your teeth clean is easier with Invisalign too, as you can take your aligners out to brush and floss.
About Invisalign
Straightening Your Teeth Can Actually Save You Money
Dr. Zboril often uses Invisalign to help patients avoid more expensive and complex procedures. For some patients, repositioning their teeth is all that’s needed for a beautiful smile. This allows them to save thousands of dollars on alternatives like dental crowns and porcelain veneers.
With his advanced training and state-of-the-art technology, Dr. Zboril can find the most conservative and affordable way to achieve your smile goals.

Invisalign Treats Most Types of Misalignment
Dr. Zboril can treat most mild to moderate alignment issues using Invisalign. In fact, clear aligners can treat many of the same issues as braces. Whether you want a generally straighter smile or need to address a specific issue, Dr. Zboril can find the right orthodontic treatment for you.
Invisalign works for:
Underbites
When the lower teeth protrude past the upper teeth
Crossbites
When the upper and lower jaws do not line up properly
Overbite
When the upper front teeth protrude too far over the bottom teeth
Gapped Teeth
When extra space exists between the teeth
Open Bite
When the top and bottom teeth do not meet
Crowded Teeth
When there is not enough space in the jaw for teeth to fit normally
Life with Invisalign
Determining Your Candidacy
Dr. Zboril will evaluate your smile and determine whether Invisalign is right for your case.
Planning Your Treatment
We will take digital x-rays and scans of your smile. We can use the Blue Sky Bio and Invisalign® software to precisely plan your treatment and give you a preview of your expected results.
Receiving Your Aligners
It typically takes about four weeks for Invisalign to create the aligners. Once they are ready, you can return to our office to get started with treatment.
Wearing Your Trays
Wear your aligners for 20 to 22 hours each day, taking them out only to eat, brush, or floss. Every two weeks, swap out your aligners for the next set in the series.
Monitoring Your Progress
We recommend visiting our office every six to eight weeks so Dr. Zboril can check the movement of your teeth and provide more aligners.Enjoying Your Results
On average, treatment with Invisalign takes about 12 months. Once your smile is straightened, we can provide a customized retainer to keep your teeth in place.

How Much Does Invisalign Cost?
The final cost of your treatment with Invisalign will depend on a few factors, including:
Complexity of Treatment
In general, simple misalignments, such as crowding between the front teeth, are less expensive to fix with Invisalign. If you have more complex issues, your final cost will likely be higher.
Length of Treatment
Your Invisalign treatment will consist of a series of clear aligners. Complex issues require more time and aligners to resolve. The more aligners needed to reach your ideal smile, the more your final cost will be.
Your Insurance Coverage
Not all dental insurance plans provide coverage for orthodontic treatment. It is important to consult with your provider before committing to treatment with Invisalign, as their rules can dramatically affect your final cost. Our team can work with your insurance to maximize applicable coverage.
The Facts Speak for Themselves
Keeping Your Smile Straight and Healthy
Repositioning your teeth is not the final step of your treatment. Once your teeth are aligned, Dr. Zboril will provide you with a retainer or another clear aligner to maintain the position of your teeth.
No matter what type of treatment you receive at our office, we recommend visiting us at least twice a year for a cleaning and an exam. Keeping your smile healthy has lasting effects on your overall wellbeing.
Schedule an Appointment
Invisalign can address many of the same issues as traditional braces, including gaps and crowding. However, for more severe cases, Dr. Zboril may recommend metal braces or ceramic brackets. One way Dr. Zboril can determine which method will work for you is using our advanced T-Scan system from Tekscan®. The software can pressure map your teeth and show potential problem spots before treatment begins. Schedule a consultation at our practice to learn more about what orthodontic treatment can do for you.
