Dental Implants

Missing teeth make eating, speaking, and smiling more difficult and can have a dramatic impact on your self-esteem.

Dr. Robert Zboril places and restores dental implants in Victoria, TX, to replace lost teeth and provide unrivaled strength and durability.

So why should you get implants at our practice?

Lasting Results

With proper care, dental implants can last a lifetime. Using our advanced technology, Dr. Zboril can precisely plan your implant surgery and find the optimal location for your posts so they last for years to come.

Enhanced Appearance and Comfort

Implants act as artificial tooth roots, providing unparalleled support and stability for restorations. The posts become a part of your anatomy, ensuring comfortable and lifelike results.

Improved Oral Health

Missing teeth can cause a range of health issues, including shifting teeth and tissue loss in the jawbone. Implant-supported restorations replace the entire tooth, from root to crown, to improve and maintain your oral health.

Why Choose Zboril Dental Center?

At Zboril Dental Center, we use our state-of-the-art technology to provide safe, effective implant treatment.

With the advanced Vatech Green CT scanner, we can take sophisticated x-rays with lower radiation exposure. These 3-D scans visualize everything in the upper and lower jaw, including your sinuses.

Dr. Zboril can then sync the information gathered in your scans with our MoonRay 3-D printer to create a custom surgical guide and ensure the precise placement of your implant posts.

Our advanced Vatech Green CT Scanner produces lower radiation levels and 3-D scans.

In addition, Dr. Zboril uses T-Scan™ from Tekscan® to identify pressure points in your smile. This cutting-edge system pressure maps your teeth, allowing our team to predict potential interferences with your treatment.

By combining advanced technologies with extensive training and experience, Dr. Zboril can provide high-quality results which protect the long-term health of your smile.

Dental Implants

Tooth loss can lead to a wide range of oral health issues including bone loss, misalignment, and tooth fractures. Dental implants are a long-lasting solution for missing teeth, helping you maintain a balanced, harmonious bite so that you can chew, smile, and speak with confidence. Dr. Robert Zboril of Zboril Dental Center can determine if dental implants are right for you during a simple, yet thorough, dental exam.

That sounds great, but am I even eligible for implants?

We Offer Solutions to Improve Your Implant Candidacy

The best way to find out if you are a good candidate for dental implants is to schedule an appointment with Dr. Zboril. He can use our advanced diagnostic technology to determine if there are any factors which could interfere with your treatment.

We provide treatment for many of the issues which could impact your candidacy.

Low Jawbone Density

Implants have such a high level of strength and stability because they fuse with surrounding bone tissue and become part of the jaw. If you do not have sufficient tissue in your jaw, Dr. Zboril can perform a bone graft to restore your eligibility for implants.

Unhealthy Gums

Healthy gums provide a strong foundation, so gum disease poses a serious threat to the stability of your restoration. We offer a variety of treatments for periodontal disease to improve your gum health before implant placement.

Teeth Clenching

Severe bruxism can put extreme pressure on implants and cause failure. Dr. Zboril can minimize the impact of clenching and grinding by pressure mapping your smile with T-Scan during treatment planning. We also offer oral appliances which can protect your restoration.

Other Concerns

Certain medical conditions, such as uncontrolled diabetes, and lifestyle factors, such as smoking, can also interfere with the success of your implants. Dr. Zboril will discuss your medical history with you before treatment to ensure there are no other potential risk factors.

What Does Implant Placement Actually Look Like?

Dr. Zboril will place implants directly into the jawbone and then attach a customized restoration to replace missing teeth.

But what happens after surgery?

You Can Care for Your Implants Just Like Natural Teeth

Once your treatment is complete, your implant-supported restoration functions just like your natural teeth. For the most part, you can brush and floss as you normally would. Keeping your newly restored smile healthy should involve:

Dr. Zboril can review any special requirements with you after your restoration is in place.

Ok, that looks great. But can I afford it?

How Much Do Dental Implants Cost?

Every smile is different and so is the cost of restoring it. At Zboril Dental Center, we strive to provide conservative, affordable treatment options to all of our patients. However, a variety of factors can affect the final cost of your implant-supported restoration.

Choice of Surgeon

Some patients consider choosing one surgeon or another due to price. Unfortunately, in many cases, doctors charge lower prices because they have less experience placing dental implants. Dr. Zboril has completed dental implant training at the Engle Institute, a national and international leader in post-graduate dental education.  He regularly takes continuing education courses to ensure he is providing the most cutting-edge implant treatment possible.

Preparatory Procedures

Procedures such as bone grafts and sinus lifts can significantly reduce the chance of complications with your implants. However, they will also affect the overall cost of your treatment.

Type of Restoration

The type of restoration you need will depend on how many teeth you are missing. Since they are smaller, implant-supported crowns and bridges generally cost much less than a full denture.

Number of Implants

The number of implants you need also depends on the number of teeth you are replacing and the size of your restoration. For a dental crown, Dr. Zboril can place a single implant. However, a denture will need four to eight implants, making this restoration more expensive.

At Zboril Dental Center, we offer a range of sedation options, including nitrous oxide, oral sedatives, and intravenous (IV) sedation. There are different costs associated with each type of sedation. We can help you weigh the benefits of each type and find the right solution for you.

Are implants really worth the money?

Schedule an Appointment

The best way to find out if dental implants are a good option for you is to schedule a consultation at our practice. During the appointment, we can also provide a custom estimate for the overall cost of your treatment.

Implant-supported restorations offer unparalleled support, stability, and protection for your oral health. However, if you do not qualify for implants, we offer a variety of other tooth replacement options, including bridges and dentures
